Two child trafficking victims rescued in Colorado Springs during Operation Cross Country
Police say two child trafficking victims were rescued in Colorado Springs as part of a nationwide crackdown on child sex trafficking
The Colorado Springs Police Department’s human trafficking team worked with Metro Vice and Narcotics and the Colorado State Patrol during Operation Cross Country.
The police department says that in addition to the two victims being rescued, two adults were arrested for pimping, five adults were arrested for prostitution and three adults were arrested for solicitation of prostitution.
The Colorado Springs Cross Country Operation took place between June 18 and June 20.
