Colorado man sentenced to 5 years in prison on meth charges

A Colorado man has been sentenced to five years in prison on methamphetamine conspiracy and distribution charges.

Police determined that from January 2011 to January 2012, 36-year-old Daniel Preston of Colorado Springs shipped meth from his state to New Hampshire on a weekly basis. Once it got to New Hampshire, it would be repackaged and distributed.

Police seized a package containing an ounce of the drug, which was destined for a resident in Milton.
