Body found in river near Pueblo Reservoir

Colorado Parks and Wildlife says a body was pulled from the Arkansas River west of the Pueblo Reservoir at around noon Monday (6/16/14).

Parks and Wildlife says a pair of boaters spotted the body Sunday evening. Searchers looked for the body until the sun set Sunday night then resumed their search on Monday morning.

The man’s body appeared to have been in the water for a period of time, making it difficult to identify him.

Foul play is not suspected.
