Constitution Ave. closed while police search for robber

Colorado Springs Police closed a stretch of Constitution Ave. Monday evening while they followed up on leads in the search for a robber.

The robbery happened at a nearby business.

Police say the robbery suspect’s car was found on Warwick Dr.

Constitution is closed between N. Academy Blvd. and Chelton Rd. while police investigate.

It’s unknown when the road will reopen.
