Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Colorado Springs area

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for the Colorado Springs area until 5:45 p.m.

Quarter size hail has been reported over northwestern Colorado Springs.

The storm is moving southeast at 20 mph.

A flood advisory has also been issued for the northern portion of the Waldo Canyon Burn Scar.
