Security-Widefield man accused of possessing, sharing child porn
Colorado Springs Police say they arrested a Security-Widefield man on child pornography charges after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The tip said that someone using the screen name “skyeye719” was chatting about molesting children in a smartphone app called the lobby before switching to another app and sending images of child pornography to a person in Missouri.
Police traced the IP address to the 1900 block of Hallam Avenue in Security-Widefield.
The Internet Crimes Against Children Unit executed a search warrant at the home where detectives say they found digital images of child pornography.
Glen Ardell Douglas, Jr., 36, was questioned at the home. Police say he was arrested after admitting to using the screen name and email address that were mentioned in the tip.
