Dead man found in apartment complex stairwell
The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating the death of a man whose remains were found in a stairwell at an east side apartment complex.
The unidentified 18-year-old’s body was found at an apartment complex located at 1274 Potter Drive, which is across the street from Mitchell High School.
The man’s name has not been released because his family has not yet been notified of his death.
The major crimes unit is investigating, but police say the circumstances surrounding the death do not appear to be suspicious.
