Flames seen for miles from house fire
A home caught fire in eastern El Paso County Wednesday morning.
It happened in the 1300 block of Dragoo Point. That’s near Ellicott Highway and Highway 94.
Ellicott firefighters tell us the fire started around 4:20 Wednesday morning (5/7/14).
They say no one was inside the home and no one was hurt.
Witnesses reported seeing the fire from about four miles away.
Tri-County, Peyton, Falcon, and Calhan Fire Departments fought the fire.
No word yet on what started it.
