Small plane crashes into house in Northglenn
A pilot walked away with minor injuries after his small plane crashed into a house in Northglenn, setting the plane and house on fire.
Northglenn Police Department spokesman Ron Haralson said the crash happened about 3:45 p.m. Monday afternoon. He said there was no one inside the house at the time. He said the pilot got out of the cockpit and got into an ambulance for treatment while the plane and house burned. The fires were quickly put out.
Haralson said the plane was towing a banner when it went down in a residential area. He says he does not know if there was a problem with the banner or the plane. Details on the banner were not available.
Witnesses said the plane was flying low when it went down.
