Springs middle school briefly locked down

Falcon School District 49 says Skyview Middle School was locked down for about fifteen minutes Wednesday afternoon.

The district says the school was locked down while Colorado Springs Police investigated a possible threat against a student.

The school went on lock down at 12:30 p.m. and the lock down was lifted at 12:45 p.m.

A D-49 spokesperson says police determined that everyone at the school was safe and that operations have returned to normal at the campus.
