Three arrested in Pueblo standoff
Three people were arrested during a standoff in the 300 block of Alma Ave. in Pueblo Tuesday. (3/15/14).
The standoff began around 1 p.m. and ended around 5 p.m.
KRDO NewsChannel 13’s Michelle San Miguel reports that it began when a parole officer spotted a person who was known to have violated their parole driving around. That person has been identified as Joseph Carrillo, 21.
The parole officer followed Carrillo to a home where he and another man jumped out of the car and ran inside.
Police were called in and began negotiating with the people inside the house.
A total of seven people were taken out of the house, but only three were officially arrested.
Joseph Carrillo was arrested for violating parole, Crystal Gallegos, 32, was arrested for violating parole and Rosemary Hernandez was arrested on a city warrant.
