Child-sex charges filed against Adams deputy
Prosecutors have filed child sexual assault charges against an Adams County sheriff’s deputy.
The Denver Post reports 37-year-old Henry Ford II faces charges including sexual assault on a child by someone in a position of trust, sexual assault as a pattern of abuse and incest.
The charges were filed Monday.
Ford was being held in the Adams County jail in lieu of $100,000 bond. He hasn’t entered a plea. Online jail records didn’t indicate whether he has an attorney.
The sheriff’s department started an investigation on April 9 but hasn’t said why.
Ford is an eight-year veteran of the department who worked in the detention division.
