Garbage truck tips over in Colorado Springs neighborhood
Investigators say the driver of a garbage truck that tipped over Monday was going too fast.
The accident happened in the 4600 block of Crow Creek Drive near the Cold Springs Road intersection.
KRDO NewsChannel 13’s Chris Jacobs reports that some fuel did spill from the truck and that firefighters poured a line of dirt on the road to keep the spilled fuel from spreading. He says the truck is operated by Springs Waste Systems.
The 4600 block of Crow Creek Road is closed.
It’s unknown if anyone was hurt or what if any charges will be filed.
