Snowy field forces move for AFA Founders Day parade

The 60th annual Founders Day Parade at the United States Air Force Academy has been moved because the parade field at the Academy is covered in snow.

The parade is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 10 a.m. and will be held on the Academy’s Terrazzo.

The parade is open to the public. Civilians who plan to go should enter through the North Gate entrance, exit 156 off of I-25, and turn left on Parade Loop.

The Academy says attendance is usually high for the parade, so you are encouraged to arrive early if you plan to go.
