Police: Woman escapes abduction

Colorado Springs police are searching for a man they say tried to abduct a woman.

Police say the victim told investigations a man she did not know tried to force her into his car near the intersection of Airport Road and Murray Boulevard at about 5 a.m. Sunday (3/30/114).

Investigators said the woman was able to run to a nearby convenience store and was not hurt. Police said the man was in a blue older model four-door sedan and was last seen traveling east on Airport Road.

Police said the man is described as Hispanic, in his late 20s, five feet seven inches tall to five feet nine inches tall with a then build and dark hair.
