Liquor store employee stops robbery in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs Police are looking for two suspects they said tried to rob a liquor store.

Police said it happened around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday (3/7) at Bob’s Liquor in the 3500 block of North El Paso Street.

Police said two people with masks and guns went into the store and demanded money.

Both people pointed their guns at two employees. Police said the suspects then realized one of the employees also had a gun. As the two were trying to leave, the employee fired a shot at them.

No one was hurt, police said. The suspects were not found and nothing was taken.
