Broncos to release Champ Bailey

The Denver Broncos are releasing cornerback Champ Bailey after 10 seasons with the team.

ESPN reports, despite being released, Bailey is not interested in retiring.

Bailey was entering the final year of his deal after playing in a career-low five regular-season games this past season because of a foot injury. He was due a $1 million roster bonus on March 15th.

The Broncos will save $10 million in cap space with the move, and will be about $29 million under the salary cap.
