Bike thefts caught on camera; help wanted to find suspects

Colorado College needs your help to find two bike thieves. The camera catches the crooks looking at the bikes. Then, they use bolt cutters to break the locks. It happened outside Slocum Hall.

Here’s how one student makes sure no one takes his bike.

“I try to lock my bike up in places where there’s more people, kind of more common places not in like dark, dark places,” said senior Michael Idell.

The suspects’ vehicle is described as an orange, flatbed truck with a large white tool box in the back. If you recognize these two bike thieves, call Colorado Springs Police at (719) 444-7000.
