Bag of weed ‘donated’ to Salvation Army
An act of charity may go up in smoke for one Salvation Army donor in Pennsylvania.
Workers at the store in Sugarcreek called police last week after finding a large plastic bag filled with marijuana among donated clothes, The Derrick newspaper reported.
Police were working with store employees to determine who dropped clothes off and when.
This isn’t the first time something out of the ordinary has shown up in donated clothing.
Police Chief Matt Carlson told The Derrick workers at the Salvation Army have also found cash, rings and even guns.
