Pueblo County Sheriff’s Deputies believe they caught a burglar who targeted the CSU-Pueblo baseball team.

27-year-old Zachary Hoffman was arrested for felony burglary and felony theft.

Deputies believe last week Hoffman broke into the University baseball clubhouse and stole more than $20,000 in property that belonged to coaches, players and the school.

Investigators were able to catch up with Hoffman after they say he had been trying to pawn several autographed photos of famous baseball players.

Hoffman was contacted Friday; outside of a pawn shop wearing what deputies believe was stolen CSU-Pueblo practice gear. They say there were several other stolen items in Hoffman’s car.
