Three alarm fire at Springs apartment complex under control
The Colorado Springs Fire Department says a second floor unit was engulfed in flames when they arrived to a fire at the Courtyard Estates Apartments on E. Pikes Peak Ave.
The three alarm fire is now under control.
The fire department estimates that the building where the fire started houses between 45 and 60 apartments.
A search of the building is complete. Firefighters don’t believe anyone was trapped inside.
The 4300 block of E. Pikes Peak was closed during the firefight.
