Tegan comes home to Colorado Springs
Tegan needs a little rest and relaxation after a whirlwind tour in New York City. This eight year old smooth haired collie won the best of her breed at the Westminster Dog Show.
Tegan’s co-owner, Laura Bergstrasser tells me she has what seems like a trunk full of awards for her well-mannered four legged friend and there is a simple reason why, “She loves to show. She really does. When you see her out there in competition, she just wants to do it.”
Laura remembers when she first brought Tegan home, she knew there was something special about this very beautiful dog, “Everyone, all the collie people wanted her right and then and there. They just fell head over heels with her.”
Two other Southern Colorado dogs were also competing at the Westminster Dog Show. They are Swagger from Colorado Springs and Farley from Pueblo.
