Teen stabbed at Springs park

A teenage boy was rushed into surgery after being stabbed in the abdomen at Cheyenne Meadows Park, which is near Highway 115 and Cheyenne Meadows Road.

The crime happened at around 3:08 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2014.

Police say a group of teens was fighting when one of them was stabbed.

The suspected stabber is described as a white or Hispanic male, 15 to 16 years old. He was wearing a black hoodie and black pants.

The victim was last reported to be in serious but stable condition. His name has not been released.
