Labor Day showers and Hot temperatures

LABOR DAY: Today brings the warmest temperatures of your forecast, with Colorado Springs expecting to get all the way up to 91 degrees. The daily record for Sept 7th is 93 degrees from 2022. Pueblo will be in the high-90s, with La Junta and Lamar seeing a good chance to hit triple digits.

Showers are still in the forecast, making outdoor activities and commuting difficult. Showers and thunderstorms are expected over I-25 in El Paso County right after 3 pm. Scattered showers and storms linger through the rest of the evening wrapping up around 9 pm.

Tuesday: The start to the short work week brings more warm temperatures and storms. Showers for El Paso County hit the evening the hardest, with the window to get a storm from 3- 8 p.m.

Colorado Springs high temperature will be in the high-80s, with Pueblo once again in the 90s.
