Pueblo assault victim in critical condition

Police say an assault victim who was found at the Safeway on W. 29th Street Monday morning (1/20/14) is in critical condition.

Police received a report of an unconscious man at the store at around 9 a.m. They say that when officers arrived they found a 45-year-old man who was unresponsive. The man was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

Investigators say the man was assaulted.

No arrests have been made and no names have been released.
