Heating back up Sunday, fall cooldown this week!

TODAY: Warming temperatures back up today with mid to upper 80s expected in the Pikes Peak Region, with lower 90s over the plains and HWY 50 corridor. We'll likely remain dry along and east of I-25, with a few storm chances possible along and west of the foothills. Any storm would be quick moving with lightning and a brief downpour being the main threat. We'll be breezy into the afternoon with gusts as high as 20-25 mph.

MONDAY: We'll remain warm in the early afternoon, with shower and storm chances increasing into the evening. A cold front is expected to push through Monday evening, allowing for much cooler temperatures on Tuesday with highs only in the upper 60s and low 70s.

THIS WEEK: Not expecting much heat over the next 4 or 5 days, with temps in the 70s along I-25, and low 80s over the plains. Daily storm chances look possible... fingers crossed we can get in on some beneficial rainfall. Active weather pattern looks to remain in place through next weekend.
