Springs man gets 65 years for murder, robbery

Isaiah Jackson, 21, will spend the next 65 years in prison for killing a maintenance worker who walked in on him during a burglary.

A judge handed down the sentence on Monday, January 13, 2014.

The crime happened on Friday, February 15, 2013.

Investigators say Jackson was burglarizing a home at the Park Ridge Apartments, 618 Serendipity Circle West, when Gregory Dean Martin, 46, walked in on him.

Jackson stabbed Martin, killing him.

Jackson will serve 48 years in prison for the murder of 17 years for the burglary.
