Air Force Tops UNLV 75-68

Tre’ Coggins’ layup with 36 seconds left in the game gave Air Force the lead and Kamryn Williams sealed the win by converting four of six free throws as the Falcons beat UNLV, 75-68 Saturday night.

Coggins layup answered a pair of free throws by Deville Smith that put UNLV up, 68-67 with :49 to play.

Williams was fouled pulling down a defensive rebound and converted both free throws to make it 71-68, and was fouled again after pulling down a defensive rebound. This time he hit the first of two free throws and put back his own miss for a three-point play with :04 left to complete the scoring.

Coggins finished with 20 points for Air Force (8-5, 2-0 Mountain West). Max Yon added 13 and Marek Olesinki and Williams both finished with 11 points.

Bryce Dejean-Jones scored 28 points to lead the Rebels (10-5, 1-1).
