Marijuana story spoof fools people on social media

A headline claiming that marijuana killed 37 people in Colorado is a hoax. It’s all over social media.

The article was written by a website known for its fictional stories. Dailycurrant.com posted the spoof story.

It attributed the story to The Rocky Mountain News, a Denver newspaper that closed years ago. Many got the joke but some people were fooled.

We spoke to Dr. John about the most serious side effects of marijuana. He told us they are: upset stomach, paranoia and impaired motor skills. Dr. John also says there are no reported deaths from too much marijuana.
