Pueblo officer involved in auto-pedestrian crash
The Pueblo Police Department is investigating a crash involving one of its own officers.
The crash happened on Monday around 6:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of N. Grand Ave.
Police say Officer Dennis Bogard hit a man and a woman with a police car.
James Valiant, 49, and Stacy Brown, 42, were taken to the hospital for minor injuries. Police say they were crossing the street in the middle of the block when they were hit. Speed and alcohol are not factors in the crash.
No citations have been issued at this time. The crash is still under investigation.
