Police release name of man found dead in creek

Police say there are no signs of foul play in the death of Joey Ray Rose, 48.

Rose’s body was found near Fountain Creek in the 500 block of S. Santa Fe Avenue on Christmas Eve.

Police say Rose had previously been reported missing in Fountain. His family has been notified of his death.

While foul play is not currently suspected, this is an ongoing investigation.
