Former Liberty H.S. employee accused of inappropriate relationship with student

A former assistant football coach at Liberty High School is facing charges of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

David R. Kindig, 21, worked as a seasonal employee at the school.

The investigation began when someone reported the alleged relationship to the school resource officer at Liberty. The officer forwarded the report to the Crimes Against Children Unit for additional investigation.
