The Incline wins $350K Grant
A $350,000 grant is going to make a big difference for The Manitou Springs Incline.
The Incline has been very popular since it reopened in April, but all that traffic and recent weather takes a toll. The Incline is in need of $1M in repairs.
Incline Friends, a local non-profit, has received a $350,000 grant from Great Outdoors Colorado.
“Oh my gosh, happy dance! We were doing the happy dance. It’s such a great thing for us. We’ve been working on it for years to get the grant. It’s going to go a long ways toward helping us fix The Incline,” said Incline Friends volunteer Sandi Yukman.
They’ve also raised $4,000 apart from the grant. The goal is to raise an additional $200,000 to help with repairs.
