Water main break causes lane closures

A water main break has caused traffic lanes to close in Colorado Springs this morning (12/11/2013).

The main broke on Tappan Circle near Mitchell High School.

Colorado Springs utilities said workers would be making repairs throughout the day.

While the high school does have water, 44 residences will remain without water while the repairs are made.

One lane westbound on Galley Road and one lane southbound Murray Boulevard are closed and traffic may be congested throughout the day.
