Airsoft gun fired at Trinidad school, 3 kids hit by pellets

Three children suffered minor injuries when an 11-year-old boy fired an airsoft gun at Fisher’s Peak Elementary School.

The incident was reported at 7:45 a.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2013.

Police say the incident happened on the playground. The 11-year-old girl, 11-year-old boy, and 10-year-old boy who were hit by pellets were treated by the school nurse.

Police confiscated the gun and took the boy into custody.
