Designated driver’s car allegedly hit by drunk driver
A volunteer with Designated Driver of Colorado Springs received an ironic reminder Thursday of how important her work is.
Chelsea Todd was returning to her car after a volunteer shift and discovered it had been slammed into. She said the culprit was a drunk driver.
No one was hurt in Thursday’s incident, but that isn’t always the case. She said people who are too intoxicated to drive should take advantage of Designated Driver of Colorado Springs. The program runs Thursday through Saturday from 10 p.m. To 3 a.m. The number is (719) 650-3450.
