Seven Falls remains closed

One of Colorado Springs’ most popular tourist attractions is closed tonight, and there’s no telling when it might be able to welcome visitors again.

Seven Falls was heavily damaged by the heavy rains that fell around the area last month.

The heaviest damage to the park was not to the falls themselves, but to the roads.

The park’s owners say that they are still working with the insurance company to get an idea of how much damage was done and how long it will take to fix it.

Areas just outside of the main gate to the falls were also damaged, but most of those repairs have been done.

The owners said that they are hoping to re-open the park as soon as the repairs to the roads are finished.
