Man gets prison for stealing women’s underwear

A 39-year-old Greeley man accused of stealing women’s underwear from the laundry room at an apartment complex has been sentenced to four years in prison.

The Greeley Tribune reports Joey Eugene Gallegos was sentenced Friday after pleading guilty to second-degree felony burglary and misdemeanor theft.

Gallegos was arrested Aug. 1 after police tied him to the thefts. Investigators say they found more than 350 items of women’s clothing, mostly undergarments, in his home. All of them are believed to have been stolen.
