Fort Carson soldiers return from nine-month deployment
The 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, began returning home to Fort Carson on Saturday.
The first wave was the advance party of 150 soldiers, mostly officers and fathers with wives expecting to deliver babies soon.
This deployment was the third for most of the brigade. The mission was less dangerous this time, as soldiers trained with armed forces in Kuwait.
