Human remains found, deputies search for answers

The Conejos County Sheriff’s Office is searching for answers about the identity of a man whose remains were found in late September.

Conejos County sits southwest of Alamosa on the New Mexico state line.

The remains were found on Monday, September 30, 2013.

The Conejos County Sheriff’s Office is requesting information about anyone considered a missing person fitting the following description:

Hispanic or Anglo white male.
Late teens to 30 years old.
Piercing on bottom lip.
