Hot and dry conditions this week in Southern Colorado

Today we will see mostly sunny skies and hot conditions. We will see highs in the lower 90s here along the Pikes Peak Region, with triple digits temperatures out on the Eastern Plains. We do have an Air Quality Alert in effect for Pueblo County through 9 A.M. We will see breezy conditions in the afternoon and evening hours.

Hot and dry conditions will continue for most of the week. Expect lots of sunshine and highs in the lower 90s from Tuesday through Thursday.

Friday will bring us a slight chance of showers and storms, with highs in the lower 90s.
