Moose no longer on the loose in Broomfield

A moose that was on the loose in suburban Denver has been captured.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers were called in Monday to track the animal, which had been wandering the streets for weeks before it became a problem for residents.

KMGH-TV reports that the moose was tranquilized around 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2013.

The moose was then loaded into a truck and taken to a moose habitat according to KMGH.
