Louisville adopts emergency pot moratorium

The Louisville City Council has approved an emergency moratorium on retail marijuana businesses following protests from residents.

The council now plans to ask its residents in next year’s election whether they want pot businesses in town.

According to the Boulder Daily Camera, the council was expected to approve rules on Tuesday that would have allowed future retail marijuana businesses in town before they changed their minds.
