Closures and delays for Friday, Sept. 13

Military Bases

Cheyenne Mtn Air Force Station– Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station is closed Friday, September 13. This closure is in effect for mission essential and non-mission essential personnel.

Fort Carson– 2 hour delay for all military and civilian personnel who live west of 21st Street and Hwy 24, Cascade, Chipita Park, Green Mountain Falls, Woodland Park and Manitou Springs.

Schriever Air Force Base– 2 hour delay for military and civilian personnel who live west of 21st Street and Hwy 24, Cascade, Chipita Park, Green Mountain Falls, Woodland Park and Manitou Springs.

School Districts

Big Sandy– Closed

Calhan RJ1– All buses on storm routes. Please check District (www.calhanschool.org) website for storm route locations and times.

Cheyenne Mountain Dist. 12– Cheyenne Mountain Junior High School, Skyway Elementary and Canon School closed due to flooding.

Manitou Springs SD 14– Due to uncertain conditions, possible road closures and flood warnings, schools are closed today.

Elbert School District 200 – 2 Hour Delay

Private and Charter Schools

Pauline Memorial – 2 hour delay due to heavy rain and road closures

Mountain Song Community School – Closed
