Skyline Correctional Center escapee captured

A man who escaped Wednesday (09/04/13) morning from the Skyline Correctional Center in Caon City has been captured.

The Department of Corrections said Jerry Chase was missing during an early morning formal count.

Chase was found hiding on Department of Corrections property nearby. He is eligible for parole on October 2, 2013. DOC officials didn’t say whether his escape would affect his parole eligibility date.

Chase entered the Department of Corrections on July 28, 2009 on three consecutive four-year convictions for harassment and stalking.
