Girl hit by truck in Pueblo
A young girl is recovering from injuries she suffered in an accident with a truck in Pueblo Thursday night.
Pueblo Police said the accident happened on the 1200 block of Bohmen Avenue around 7:30 p.m.
A 6-year-old boy crossed the street and his 3-year-old sister followed, authorities said.
A driver heading south on Bohmen Avenue told police he slowed down for the boy, but did not see the girl crossing. Police said he was unable to stop in time.
The girl was airlifted to a Colorado Springs hospital. Her condition is unknown.
