Adult body found in home burned in Sedalia
Authorities say firefighters have found an adult’s body inside a burned house in Sedalia that has been declared a total loss.
The person’s identity wasn’t immediately released.
Douglas County sheriff’s officials say a neighbor who is a volunteer firefighter reported the fire Tuesday at a house along a narrow road with no fire hydrants nearby.
Investigators are trying to determine what caused the fire but say early indications don’t indicate foul play.
