AF Academy investigating incident at prep school

The Air Force Academy says it is investigating an “alleged human relations incident” at the U. S. Air Force Academy Preparatory School that has involved suspensions.

The Gazette reports two people at the prep school were suspended from duties.

Academy officials didn’t release details Thursday of the alleged incident or disclose whether it involved civilian workers, airmen or cadet candidates, but they said it doesn’t involve sexual harassment, sexual assault or drug use. It said results of the academy’s investigation wouldn’t be released until it is complete.

A “human relations incident” could include racial or religious discrimination or other cases.

The preparatory school has 240 cadet candidates.
