Youth resource fair planned

The El Paso County Department of Human Services has scheduled a youth resource fair to inform teens about the resources available to them in El Paso County.

The fair will include information about volunteer opportunities, applying for college, getting a job, how to find housing and more.

Some of the organizations participating in the event include the Teen Self-Sufficiency Program, Inside Out Youth Services, Greccio Housing, Education for a Lifetime, Pikes Peak Library District, Colorado Springs Teen Court, Mile High Youth Corps and Pikes Peak Workforce Center.

There are a variety of gift certificates and gift packages that will be given away. Some of the prizes include a guest pass for sport climbing at The Sport Climbing Center, pizza packages and kitchen gadgets.
