Pueblo standoff ends peacefully

A short standoff in Pueblo Saturday is over.

Police have arrested Richard Licon, 20, for several outstanding warrants.

Licon saw police coming and barricaded himself, a woman and a child inside a home in the 2900 block of Lancaster Drive off Pueblo Boulevard. Police were initially called by a neighbor who feared for the woman’s safety.

Police were able to talk Licon out of the house before anyone was harmed.

Licon in in jail without bond. He faces numerous charges including suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, assault/harassment and disorderly conduct.
